The job, in the employer's words

Do you want to join a new law firm on the ground floor and help build something big from day one? Are you looking to grow your career alongside two owners who have already built and run successful firms, not newbies figuring it out as they go?

If you answered "yes" to both questions, keep reading.

We're looking for an experienced family law paralegal to join our client’s law firm in West Chester, Pennsylvania. You'll keep the cases moving by owning the files, deadlines, drafting, and client updates, so the attorneys can focus on the law.

⚕️ BENEFITS – Contribution to your health insurance.

🌴 PAID TIME OFF – Accrue up to 20 Days, plus the office closes early on summer Fridays!

💲 INVESTMENTS – 401(k) with up to 5% match.

💻 WORK STYLE – In the office to start, with a path to hybrid as you get established.

🎯 BONUS – Annual structured bonuses based on KPIs and overall Firm growth.

🐾 Pet-friendly office!

  • Draft first versions of pleadings, motions/petitions, discovery, asset and debt sheets,  and subpoenas
  • Collect, index, and organize financial records from clients and opposing counsel
  • Be the dependable first point of contact for clients, handling routine updates and information requests with compassion and clear boundaries
Assist in scheduling court attendances, client meetings, and coordinate process servers and experts
  • Tell the attorneys early about delays, software problems, or workload limits, before they become a crisis
  • Enter your time daily so billing stays accurate

What Success Looks Like

  • Every client call and email is returned within 72 hours
  • Every incoming court notice, discovery request, and pleading is scanned, profiled, calendared, sent to the right parties, and tasked within 24 hours of receipt
  • No missed deadlines, and files that are organized and ready for anyone on the team to pick up
  • Attorneys hear about problems early, not at the last minute
  • Time is entered daily, never backlogged by weeks
  • Clients feel cared for and informed, and the attorneys can count on you
