  • Remote 📍 Flexibility: Hybrid work environment with flexibility to work from home and from our offices in Orange or Irvine. — job description

The job, in the employer's words

Are you an experienced California family law attorney with 5+ years of experience? Are you ready to take the next step in your family law attorney career? Are you looking for a role that fast-tracks to partnership?

If you answer "yes" to these questions, keep reading.

Our law firm client in Orange, California seeks a Senior Associate Attorney with 5+ years of CA family law experience. Join a firm that has tripled revenue and continues to grow aggressively.

This position offers immediate responsibility, substantial autonomy, performance bonuses, full legal support staff, cutting-edge technology, hybrid work, and a genuine path to partnership or ownership.

We're looking for an experienced California family law attorney who wants to help build a premier Orange County law firm—not just maintain someone else's practice. You'll be supported by experienced staff and a steady flow of new matters, allowing you to focus on practicing law rather than building a book of business.

What’s in it For You?

📍 Flexibility: Hybrid work environment with flexibility to work from home and from our offices in Orange or Irvine.

⚖️ Opportunity: An opportunity to help shape the future of one of Orange County’s fastest-growing family law firms.

🎯 Career Trajectory: The successful family law attorney will have a genuine opportunity for partnership—and potential acquisition of the practice—after three years of service.

🌴 Recharge: Twenty (20) PTO days in addition to paid holidays.

⚕️Benefits: Full health benefits, including medical, dental, vision.

💰 Investments: 401(k) match up to 3% after 90 days.

💵 Competitive Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 annually, including a generous quarterly performance bonus.

What You’ll Do

• Manage your own family law caseload from initial consultation through settlement or trial. Serve as lead counsel on new matters, develop case strategy, and guide clients through every stage of the family law litigation process.

• Represent clients at hearings, settlement conferences, depositions, mediations, and trials in Orange County and surrounding Southern California courts.

• Provide practical, strategic legal advice on divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, domestic violence, and post-judgment matters. Help clients make informed decisions during some of the most important moments of their lives.

• Negotiate favorable settlements whenever possible while preparing every case as though it may proceed to trial. Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, discovery, and settlement agreements with precision and attention to detail.

• Contribute ideas that improve the firm's systems, workflows, and client experience. As the firm continues to grow, your leadership and input will help shape its future.

• Work closely with the firm's owner and legal support staff in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Share knowledge, mentor junior team members when appropriate, and help foster a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.

• Build strong client relationships through responsive communication, sound legal judgment, and compassionate representation. Our reputation is built on outstanding client service, and every team member contributes to that standard.

• Growth Mindset: We're seeking individuals who aren't just looking for steady work but are eager to contribute to the law firm's growth and development.

• Bar Admission: Active member of the State Bar of California, in good standing.
