The job, in the employer's words

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and business-minded Consultant to support the delivery and management of multiple client programs within Control Risks’ Embedded Consulting Services practice. This client-facing role requires strong operational discipline, clear communication, sound judgment and the ability to coordinate competing priorities across a diverse portfolio of accounts.

The Consultant will manage defined program workstreams and serve as a day-to-day liaison between client stakeholders, embedded Team Leads and Control Risks colleagues. Working under the direction of a Director, the Consultant will help maintain consistent service delivery, strengthen program governance and identify practical opportunities to improve client outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting contingent workforces, vendors or staffing programs within a client services, account management or professional services environment.

  • Manage day-to-day service delivery across a portfolio of client accounts, both global and domestic, maintaining regular communication with client stakeholders and internal Team Leads.
  • Coordinate priorities, commitments and deliverables across multiple programs, escalating material risks, issues or resource constraints to senior account leadership.
  • Partner with Team Leads to monitor operational performance, reinforce accountability and support continuous improvement across a geographically dispersed team of embedded consultants.
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, HR and Team Leads on workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities aligned with client needs and Control Risks standards.
  • Maintain and improve practical frameworks and tools that support professional development, performance management, succession planning and knowledge sharing across the program.
  • Coordinate QBR development and recurring client reporting, ensuring program and personnel metrics are accurate, consistently tracked and translated into clear insights and actions.
  • Work across internal functions to coordinate deliverables, resolve routine program issues and support the successful execution of account priorities.
  • Support program financial administration, including budget tracking, expense review, billing coordination and contract documentation, escalating variances or commercial risks as appropriate.
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve or expand services and contribute analysis and account knowledge to discussions led by senior colleagues.
  • Play a key role in developing proposals, RFP responses, renewals and other business development activity by driving coordinating inputs and producing high-quality written materials.
  • Use data and stakeholder feedback to identify trends, recommend process improvements, outcomes and support evidence-based decision-making.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of progressive experience in program or project coordination, client services, account management or consulting, preferably within risk, security, staffing or professional services.
  • Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and building effective relationships with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize priorities, track actions, solve routine operational problems and escalate complex or sensitive issues appropriately.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, performance reporting, contract administration or workforce operations, with the ability to interpret data and produce clear recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare client-ready reports, proposals and presentations to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Ability to work independently within defined objectives while collaborating closely with senior account leadership and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones when required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required; project management or related certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Benefits
