This role will work across multiple, small, cross-functional engineering groups to help our application meet rapidly growing, global demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide solutions to enable production teams to measure and predict cloud costs against resource utilization.
  • Candidates would be expected to participate periodically in an on-call, production assistance and escalation schedule
  • Candidates are expected to have some level of competency in using LLM tools (e.g. Claude Code, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Minimal 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or commensurate experience..
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
  • Deep familiarity with AWS native services, particularly: ECS, EC2, EKS, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, KMS, RDS and LZA configuration.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
  • Strong scripting / automation experience (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).
  • Experience in designing or using profiling tools and performance test frameworks (e.g. AppDynamics, Jaeger, VisualVM, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, caching, event-driven architecture, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (BitBucket, GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities in large-scale distributed environments.
  • Experience in high-traffic, globally distributed environments.
  • Experience with zero-downtime migrations and multi-region deployments.
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder.

Attributes:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-directed, capable of working with multiple, small engineering teams.
  • AWS Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
  • High-level of integrity and a keen sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Able to work in multiple, concurrent, complex software projects.

Pay range:

$174,600 - $220,000 USD
