The job, in the employer's words

hi-logo

Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits.

More than half of all working Americans are not saving enough for their future. Too often, it’s because they are employed by a company that doesn’t offer a retirement plan. Human Interest is changing that by making it affordable and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses to offer employees a path to financial independence through retirement savings.

We’re a high-growth fintech company changing the retirement industry. We are backed by a number of investors. This includes funding from Marshall Wace and Baillie Gifford, as well as top investors such as BlackRock, TPG (The Rise Fund), SoftBank, Glynn Capital, NewView Capital, USVP, Wing, Uncork, and more.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Interest Finance team as we continue to propel our high-growth business, helping Americans save for their future. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the GTM (Go-to-Market) Finance function within the GTM FP&A team. The Go-To-Market team at Human Interest encompasses Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, and Customer Onboarding. Reporting to the Director of GTM Finance, this role will be a critical player responsible for cross-functional efforts to support our public company readiness, building financial models for revenue forecast, and collaborating with all levels of the organization to improve our forecasting accuracy and financial reporting.

What you get to do every day

  • Develop robust financial models for revenue forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Improve forecast accuracy, explaining material variances to expectations, and developing recommendations that enhance understanding of revenue and expense levers
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and their teams to provide ad hoc financial analysis and budgetary support. Deliver actionable insights to inform key decisions and align capital allocation with strategic company initiatives
  • Provide data-driven insights and financial analysis to optimize the performance of the GTM organization
  • Streamline processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions on the “way we do things” to support our next phase of elevated growth and scale
  • Prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings, investors, and internal reporting
  • Create and monitor KPIs to measure performance against key financial objectives

What you bring to the role

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A at a high-growth software company and/or investment banking
  • Excel wizardry - ability to build robust financial models
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High degree of comfort with ambiguity; ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of SaaS business models and experience in analyzing SaaS metrics
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to collaborate across functions and levels throughout the company, as well as with external partners
  • Ability to drive insights from large datasets - SQL experience a plus
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Pigment is a plus
