  • Own the integrity of technical designs, architectural decisions, and delivery patterns across enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Provide architectural leadership to development teams, ensuring technical execution aligns with approved architecture, delivery standards, and client objectives.
  • Lead estimation activities for complex initiatives, ensuring scope, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines are clearly understood and documented.
  • Guide backlog definition and prioritization by translating architectural decisions into actionable epics, features, user stories, and technical work items.
  • Facilitate client discussions on enterprise architecture best practices, including scalability, resiliency, security, maintainability, performance, and operational readiness.
  • Provide deep expertise across platforms, cloud architectures, integration patterns, design patterns, and enterprise solution practices.
  • Mentor architects, technical leads, and senior developers to strengthen architectural thinking, technical quality, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, delivery teams, and internal leadership to ensure alignment, transparency, and smooth project progression.
  • Identify architectural risks, technical debt, delivery gaps, and escalation needs early, and provide clear recommendations to mitigate impact.
  • Contribute to architecture governance, standards, reusable patterns, and delivery practices that improve consistency and quality across engagements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Architect, or equivalent senior architecture leadership role.
  • Significant breadth and depth of architecture experience across enterprise-scale digital, cloud, application, integration, and data ecosystems.
  • Growth mindset with the ability to receive feedback, adapt quickly, and continuously improve architecture and delivery practices.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to instill client confidence, explain complex technical concepts clearly, and influence decision-making.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, with the ability to assess tradeoffs, identify risks, and recommend pragmatic solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear architecture documentation, technical narratives, and client-facing recommendations.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and architectural dependencies.
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed, outsourced, and in-house development teams.
  • Minimum of 10 years of enterprise-scale design and implementation experience in software development, with deep knowledge in at least two of the following technical disciplines: cloud computing, cloud-native architecture, application development, integration architecture, middleware, data architecture, or enterprise platforms.
  • Proven Azure or AWS expertise; proficiency in both is highly advantageous.
  • Strong familiarity with enterprise architecture patterns and principles, including Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, N-Tier Architecture, API-first design, and composable architecture.
  • Competency in enterprise architecture, middleware, integration, data flow, cloud, and system context diagramming.
