The job, in the employer's words

WHY DEPT®?

We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA.

We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.

At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.

THE ROLE:

DEPT® is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Adtech and Data Strategy Team. In this dynamic role, you will drive program innovation through scaled fraud mitigation and technical partnership roadmaps, relying on your advertising measurement expertise to navigate the ever-evolving direct response advertising landscape.

We are looking for a systems thinker with a curious, research-driven approach, who views change as an opportunity and readily leverages automation as a multiplier.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a mobile advertising expert on user acquisition flows and technical nuances within the app ecosystem.
  • Partner with stakeholders to bridge strategic business needs with adtech solutions.
  • Track industry news and impact; proactively discuss strategic shifts based on your research into trends.
  • Build, automate and distribute best practice based processes informed by industry evolution.
  • Troubleshoot structural challenges related to dataflow, MMPs and other adtech tools to deliver technical solutions.
  • Enforce traffic quality standards to mitigate ad fraud.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation of projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile app advertising, particularly in measurement or product oriented roles.
  • Must have expertise in mobile attribution and advertising measurement methodologies, and familiarity with related dataflows and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app business models, UA strategies, DR channels, and industry standards including privacy regulation.
  • Able to research and distill complex, technical topics.
  • Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail, and ability to consider all angles of a situation.
  • Comfortable proposing creative solutions under ambiguous circumstances.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively and work independently.

Most importantly, we are seeking a thoughtful and motivated individual who is eager to join our team and advance their career as a mobile app advertising expert.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • Healthcare, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • 401K plan, plus matching
  • PTO
  • Paid Company Holidays
  • Parental Leave
