The job, in the employer's words

ABOUT MANE

Founded by celebrity hairstylist and entrepreneur Jen Atkin, Mane creates expert-approved essentials that make everyday routines feel easier and more enjoyable. Built from more than a decade of conversations with the hair-obsessed Mane Addicts community, we translate professional experience and real consumer feedback into approachable beauty solutions.

We’re looking for an Influencer Marketing (Senior) Manager to help amplify the culture around Mane: growing a creator ecosystem that turns genuine product love into advocacy, conversation and momentum. You’ll stay ahead of emerging talent, trends and communities, build meaningful relationships with the people shaping culture, and create the kind of moments that make people want to be part of Mane.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a highly autonomous, hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of Influencer Marketing at Mane. You’ll set the strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute it - building the creator ecosystem, managing programs and partnerships, owning budgets and operations, and continuously using performance and cultural insight to determine where we invest next. This role goes beyond sponsored content. You’ll work across organic, seeding, affiliate, paid and IRL experiences to spark a movement around the brand, connecting creators, consumers and culture in ways that build relevance and drive growth. You’ll pair strong cultural instinct with data to understand what’s gaining traction, who’s driving it and where Mane should go next.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CREATOR ECOSYSTEM & ORGANIC ADVOCACY

  • Own and grow Mane’s creator ecosystem across nano through powerhouse talent, building meaningful relationships with creators, managers and emerging voices.
  • Identify creators showing genuine affinity for Mane and develop them into long-term advocates, affiliates, ambassadors and paid partners.
  • Stay ahead of emerging talent and communities, identifying opportunities to reach new audiences and keeping Mane top of mind through ongoing relationship-building.
  • Manage Mane’s always-on seeding strategy and budget to drive product discovery, organic adoption and advocacy.
  • Build thoughtful seeding lists around priority products, audiences and cultural moments.
  • Track organic and repeat mentions, product adoption and multi-product usage to identify and nurture high-potential advocates.
  • Partner with Brand and Product to use creator response and feedback to inform future programs, messaging and product storytelling.

CAMPAIGNS & AMPLIFICATION

  • Lead paid creator partnerships that accelerate awareness, credibility, content and conversion, identifying the right talent and partnership model for each objective.
  • Manage partnerships end-to-end, including talent identification, negotiation, contracting, briefing, content rights, approvals and performance.
  • Partner with Social and Digital to identify winning creator content and extend it across organic, paid, e-commerce and retail.
  • Develop longer-term partnerships with creators who demonstrate strong brand affinity and performance.
  • Measure creator impact across organic advocacy, content performance, EMV, affiliate and attributable revenue.
  • Lead reporting that identifies what’s working, who’s emerging and where Mane should invest next.
  • Stay ahead of creator, platform and competitive trends, testing new approaches and scaling what works.

EVENTS & IRL

  • Develop and execute brand experiences that drive product discovery, community connection and advocacy.
  • Own audience and guest strategy across launches, cultural moments, retailer activations and other IRL experiences, bringing together creators, consumers, VIPs and community.
  • Identify opportunities from intimate community moments to pop-ups, partnerships and cultural activations that put Mane in the right places and conversations.
  • Manage execution with Brand Marketing, Creative and external partners, including budgets, vendors, timelines, guest experience and on-site needs.
  • Build year-round IRL touchpoints that keep Mane connected to creators and consumers.
  • Evaluate experiences based on brand impact, advocacy, content, engagement and business outcomes.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL

  • Own the operational backbone of Mane’s creator programs, including CRM, budgets, contracts, invoices, product sends and timelines.
  • Manage investment across seeding, paid talent, experiences and long-term partnerships based on priorities and performance.
  • Partner across Social, Brand Marketing, Creative, Digital, Retail and PR to connect creator strategy to broader business goals.
  • Manage agency and external partners as needed, ensuring strong execution and accountability.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of influencer or creator marketing experience, ideally within beauty, fashion or consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated experience building creator communities beyond traditional paid sponsorships.
  • Strong creator relationships and an instinct for discovering emerging talent and developing long-term advocates.
  • Deep understanding of how earned, seeding, affiliate and paid creator strategies work together.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging creator platforms.
  • Experience managing large-scale seeding and paid creator programs, including negotiation, contracts, content rights and whitelisting.
  • Experience with affiliate and performance-driven creator programs and both brand and bottom-funnel KPIs.
  • Strong analytical instincts with the ability to translate creator and content performance into investment decisions.
  • Highly organized with strong project-management skills across multiple relationships, campaigns and launches.
  • Strong communicator comfortable building creator relationships, negotiating with talent management and presenting to leadership.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally across Social, Brand, Creative, Digital, Retail, PR and Product.

YOU’LL BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF…

You see creators as relationships, not just metrics and KPIs.

You can recognize genuine brand affinity and know how to turn it into a relationship that compounds over time.

You’re as excited about discovering an emerging creator who organically uses Mane every week as you are about landing major talent.

You know when to seed, nurture, affiliate, pay; but also, when to let genuine product love do the work.

You care less about how many boxes shipped or sponsored posts went live and more about who came back, what resonated, what moved the business and what Mane should do next that’s new and different!
