Octus

Octus is a leading global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics. Working at Octus

Octus hires growth-minded innovators and trailblazers across the globe to drive our business and culture. Our core values – Action Oriented, Customer First Mindset, Effective Team Players, and Driven to Excel – define an organizational ethos that’s as high-performing as it is human. Among other perks, Octus employees enjoy competitive health benefits, matched 401k and pension plans, PTO, generous parental leave, gym subsidies, educational reimbursements for career development, recognition programs, and much more.

Role

We are looking for an Implementation Specialist to own the onboarding experience for our clients, guiding them from signed contract through scoping and implementation, and into a strong long-term partnership. You will work to configure the LevPro platform (Research Management, Trading Tools/OMS, Portfolio Management, Compliance) around each client's workflows, manage data migrations and back-office interfaces, and train new users so they can hit the ground running. You will coordinate closely with the sales, data, customer success and product development teams to identify, create and support the best solutions for our clients. This is a highly cross-functional, client-facing role for someone who enjoys turning complex requirements into scalable, customer-focused solutions.

LevPro, now part of Octus, is a modern operating system for leveraged credit asset managers, founded to modernize a $1.5 trillion finance sector where highly skilled professionals still populate spreadsheets from unstructured emails, manually match names to identifiers, and work off text documents. We use artificial intelligence (and a little magic) to solve a number of data, nomenclature, and workflow problems that have plagued this industry, resulting in a massively improved user experience. Our single code base allows us to iterate at a rapid pace, which also results in industry-leading customer response times. Our platform has enjoyed strong adoption across the Alternative Asset industry, with many of our clients transitioning away from the legacy software they've been using for years. We're looking to bolster our talented team with the addition of key strategic hires to support growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end onboarding for new clients, from scoping and project kickoff, through to go-live, keeping each project on schedule and within scope
  • Translate client's existing workflows and requirements into system configuration, documenting and explaining relevant details to clients and executing on the implementation
  • Coordinate and test third-party integrations, working closely with engineering and third parties
  • Lead training sessions and build out general documentation/FAQs so client teams can use system independently
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues keeping clients informed throughout
  • Partner with sales to ensure a seamless handoff and set the foundation for a strong long-term relationship
  • Identify and flag opportunities to improve implementation tools, processes and LevPro products

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in client-facing software implementation and/or project management, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or financial services, including 3-5 years of relevant experience in Leveraged Credit / Fixed Income
  • High proficiency in software systems, data tools (e.g., Excel, etc.), and advanced proficiency with using AI models (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent client implementations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to build client trust and credibility quickly as a knowledgeable partner, while at times pushing back on requests that don’t align with the product roadmap
  • Self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and will push back constructively when needed

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • As much opportunity and responsibility as you can handle
  • A flexible, remote or in office work model
  • A highly collaborative and dynamic group environment
  • A stipend for learning (books, classes, etc.)
