About the role

Six months in, you will have an enterprise-level month-end close that runs on a predictable calendar, US payroll processed accurately, and international payroll, VAT, and tax filings overseen and on time. • Oversee accounting, taxation, and reporting for international project offices. Review their transactions and see that they are posted accurately to the US books.
  • Process US payroll and oversee international payroll in each country, with attention to compliance and controls.
  • Oversee local-country VAT and tax reporting and procurement practices at each site.
  • Manage AP, AR, and treasury, including cash positions, FX exposure, and bank relationships.
  • Build and manage the chart of accounts in QBO and calculate and apply indirect costs in line with contract and government requirements.
  • Handle projects and corporate accounting, and support contract billing, budgets, and audits across different government contract types.
  • Partner with site F&A Directors and support the CFO/Finance Director on US books, payroll, and tax reporting.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop international finance and accounting coordinators.
  • Build new processes and improve existing policies, documenting them for consistent use across offices.
