About Us

We are the team behind Envelopes.com, JAM Paper, and Folders.com. For decades, businesses, schools, organizations, and consumers have trusted us for high-quality envelopes, stationery, folders, labels, and office products.

Our brands have long histories and strong reputations, but we are building for what comes next. We are investing heavily in ecommerce, AI, customer experience, and experimentation to create a faster, smarter, more customer-centric organization.

About the Role

We are seeking an Financial Planning & Business Intelligence Analyst to support financial planning and help teams across the business turn data into actionable insights. This role combines budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis with sales reporting and broader business analytics.

Reporting to our Chief Analytics Officer, you will work closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations to explain business performance, identify opportunities, and support better decisions. You will also support our planned implementation of Microsoft Fabric, helping establish reliable data, consistent metrics, and effective reporting.

The ideal candidate brings a strong financial foundation, hands-on NetSuite experience, and the ability to understand, validate, and analyze data across business systems.

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Support annual budgeting, recurring forecasts, and long-term financial planning in partnership with Finance and business leaders, and build and maintain financial models that evaluate revenue, expenses, profitability, and business initiatives.
  • Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, explain key drivers and variances, and prepare monthly management reporting with clear insights into performance, risks, and opportunities.

Sales and Business Analytics

  • Analyze sales performance by customer, product, channel, and other business segments, identifying trends in revenue, volume, pricing, product mix, and gross margin.
  • Develop dashboards and recurring reports that help teams track KPIs, and support ad hoc analysis on customer profitability, operational efficiency, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to translate questions into analyses and practical recommendations, presenting both the results and their business implications clearly.

NetSuite and Data Quality

  • Use NetSuite to extract, organize, and analyze financial and transactional data, creating and maintaining saved searches, reports, and dashboards, and understanding how customers, items, transactions, and accounts relate to one another and affect reporting.
  • Combine NetSuite data with other business data sources, validate accuracy, reconcile business reporting to financial results, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Document metric definitions, data sources, and reporting logic to improve consistency and confidence in reporting.

Microsoft Fabric and Reporting Improvements

  • Support the planned Microsoft Fabric implementation by gathering business requirements, defining reporting needs, prioritizing analytics use cases, and partnering with technical teams so data from NetSuite and other systems supports financial and operational reporting.
  • Help validate migrated data, test datasets and dashboards, reconcile new reporting with existing sources, and contribute to Power BI dashboards and shared reporting datasets as the platform is implemented.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting and reduce manual spreadsheet work, and help business users understand and adopt new reports, dashboards, and metric definitions.

AI-Enabled Ways of Working

  • Use approved AI and automation tools to speed up analysis, reporting, and documentation, while verifying outputs and applying sound judgment to the results.
