Behavior Technician
Paid Training | $20–$23/hour | In-Home ABA Services | Staten Island, NY
Vibrant ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one, in-home ABA therapy to children with autism throughout Staten Island, NY. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact in a child’s life while receiving hands-on training, ongoing clinical support, and a flexible schedule that works with your availability.

About the Role
As a BT/RBT, you will work directly with children in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA. You will support children in developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills while partnering closely with families and receiving ongoing supervision from our clinical team.

What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in client homes
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Support skill development in communication, behavior, play, and daily living
- Collect accurate session data and document client progress
- Communicate regularly with supervisors, caregivers, and the clinical team
- Maintain a consistent and reliable therapy schedule
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children preferred
(ABA, childcare, education, paraprofessional work, psychology, healthcare, camp counseling, or related experience is a plus) - Compassionate, patient, dependable, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working in home-based settings with families
- Strong communication and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to travel locally throughout Staten Island
- After-school and/or weekend availability preferred
RBT Candidates Encouraged to Apply
We are actively seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and also welcome individuals who are interested in becoming certified.
- RBT credential preferred, but not required to apply
- Paid training and onboarding provided
- Support available toward RBT certification
- Ongoing supervision and clinical guidance from experienced BCBAs
