At the XTB Portugal Sales Department, we work every day to deliver an excellent client experience. We support new and existing clients throughout their journey, providing clear and transparent information, helping them use our platforms effectively and building long-term relationships based on trust.
Since we began operating in Portugal in 2010, we have formed part of the XTB Group, a global fintech company with more than 20 years of experience, over 1,700 employees across more than 15 countries and more than 2.5 million clients worldwide.
The Sales Department works closely with Research, Marketing and Customer Support. This collaboration gives us a comprehensive view of the business and enables us to provide a consistent, high-quality service while contributing to XTB’s continued growth in Portugal.
Responsibilities

Contact new users and existing clients proactively, mainly by phone and through digital channels.

Understand each client's needs and explain XTB's products, services and platform features clearly and transparently.

Make follow-up calls, arrange meetings when needed and support clients throughout activation and onboarding.

Provide practical training on financial markets and on how to use XTB's investment platforms and educational resources.

Manage and retain a portfolio of clients, identify commercial opportunities and contribute to individual and team objectives.

Keep client information and commercial activity up to date in the CRM, ensuring rigorous follow-up.

Work closely with Sales, Research, Marketing and Customer Support to improve the client experience.

Carry out all activity in line with applicable regulations, internal procedures and XTB's quality standards.
Requirements

1-2 years of experience in account management, sales or another client-facing commercial role; financial-sector experience is a plus.

Strong communication and presentation skills, together with persuasion, persistence and the ability to build trust.

Customer and results orientation, with a proactive and flexible approach.

A strong interest in financial markets and the ability to explain information in a simple, understandable way.

Confidence using digital tools, CRM systems and online platforms, with rigorous planning and follow-up.

Native or bilingual Portuguese and fluent written and spoken English.

Based in Lisbon or able to work regularly from our Lisbon office.

A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.

Previous experience in fintech, banking, brokerage, investment services or another regulated environment.

Knowledge of stocks, ETFs, investment funds or other investment products.
