THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Legal Counsel – Partner Network in our Legal team in Milan or Madrid!

Our company is looking for a talented Legal Counsel to join the European Legal team, focused on building Wellhub’s network of both physical and digital partners. The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about partner-facing commercial work and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-moving international environment, with a wide variety of contractual and commercial duties. The role covers all legal matters related to Wellhub’s physical and digital partners across multiple European countries.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Review, draft, and negotiate new sales agreements, renewals and amendments with the company’s partners and participate in negotiation meetings.
  • Provide commercial advice to business units and respond to internal and external inquiries on the contract terms and conditions, including (but not limited to) commercial matters, data protection, and intellectual property.
  • Carry out contract risk assessments, manage escalations and propose new playbook positions, ensuring compliance with legal and business standards.
  • Create, update and improve contract templates (including localisation and translation), suggesting clause swaps and back-up fallback positions.
  • Create, maintain and improve the partner playbook and special-payments guidance, in collaboration with other business areas.
  • Anticipate, identify, and mitigate legal risks and potential contingencies, suggesting preventive measures to avoid legal disputes.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A qualified legal professional with a Law Degree (obtained in any European Country) and 6+ years of proven work experience in a law firm or in-house legal roles within multinational companies.
  • Experienced in contract review, negotiation, and general advisory of commercial agreements across multiple jurisdictions with expertise in commercial contract law, risk assessment, and data protection.
  • An excellent communicator and negotiator with strong diplomacy, flexibility, and solid business acumen.
  • Proficient in using AI tools (such as Gemini and NotebookLM) as a day-to-day executor for first-pass reviews and playbook improvements, with negotiation of non-standard terms conducted under leadership supervision and approval.
  • An enthusiastic self-starter and problem-solver with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ownership mentality.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and explain complex issues in a clear, simple, and concise manner.
  • Fluent in English and Native German (mandatory); fluency in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, or Romanian is a plus.

We recognize that individuals approach job applications differently. We strongly encourage all aspiring applicants to go for it, even if they don't match the job description 100% (but please note the mandatory language requirements). We welcome your application and will be delighted to explore if you could be a great fit for our team. For this specific role, please note that a Law Degree and Native German/Fluent English language skills are mandatory requirements.
